Evaluation Custom Data (ECD)

Description

Additional information tagged to an evaluation Form used to review employee performance for a specific interaction, which evaluates proficiency in handling interactions and delivering services to a customer. or assessments, according to customer requirements.

The actual captions are configurable and can appear with any label (for example, Account Number, Transaction, Site, Line of Business, Status 1 and Status 2).

In searches, it is used to search for evaluations and assessments.

Field information

These fields are available only if they are defined under Form Designer.

When used as input fields (searches, filling evaluations/assessments), the ECDs display text boxes, or lists of values, depending on their definition under Form Designer:

  • For text boxes, type a value up to 50 characters.

  • For lists of values, select a value from the list.

    In searches, you can select more than one value from the list. Alternatively, you can select Select All to search according to all the values that appear in the list. All the check boxes in the list are selected.

Up to 20 ECDs can be displayed.

Valid characters

This value is a non-Unicode character data.

Value can contain:

  • Any number

  • Any letter (in any supported language)

  • Spaces

  • Special characters:

Wildcard usage

For text boxes only, you can search for an ECD value by using either the single character placeholder (?) or multi-character placeholder (*).

For example, when you type Sal*, the system retrieves both the words Sale and Sales.

Indexed

These fields are indexed fields, meaning that performing a search based on any of these fields improves the search performance.

Note

The indexed search improvements are unavailable when multiple ECDs are selected or wildcard characters are used. In this case, add extra criteria to the search.
