The Category List displays all existing Published, Active, and Inactive categories.

Category color

The color selected for the category Grouping of calls in Speech Analytics that pertain to specific business issues among all transcribed interactions..

Edit

Opens the Edit Category workspace Area within an application window where the user interacts with the program. where you can edit the category properties and definitions.

Category

The name of the category.

The Emotions category is a predefined category that captures interactions that indicate customer dissatisfaction or any other emotion.

The name of this category cannot be changed.

State

The category state, and can be one of the following:

Publishing state

Applies to Published categories.

The synchronization status of category data with the system databases, and can be one of the following:

  • Published: Category synchronization succeeded.

  • Publishing Category Data: Category synchronization in progress.

  • Publishing Category Failed: Category synchronization failed or there is a problem with the connection to the database.

  • Publishing Status Unknown: Synchronization status is unknown due to an upgrade from a previous version. Category results from a previous version are not automatically synchronized with the current version.

Last Update

The last date the category definition was updated (supports US date format only—MM/DD/YYYY).

Updated By

The user who last updated the category definition.

$ Impact

Represents the financial impact of interactions associated with this category, allowing you to prioritize issues that have a greater impact on performance and profitability.

Filter Applied Filter

Indicates that the category contains a filter.

To view details about the filter, point to the Filter icon to open an information tooltip with the filter information.

Terms

The terms defined for the category, including:

  • Very Important

  • Important

  • Avoid Terms

Delete Category

Deletes the category with the terms and phrases.

Warning: Deleted categories cannot be recovered. Delete a category only after making sure you will not need its data.

  • Published: To delete a Published category you must first change its state to Inactive.

    As Published categories are saved in the database and used outside Speech Analytics, deleting such a category removes it from the database, and from any reports, KPIs, and process that uses it.

  • Inactive and Active : Deletes the categories with the terms and phrases.
