Category database synchronization

On a scheduled basis, the data from categories that have a Published state are integrated and synchronized with system databases.

After migration, historical categorization results are not updated in the database.

To synchronize the database with the categorization results of the migrated categories, republish the categories.

Categories can be modified regardless of their synchronization status. If you modify or delete a category Grouping of calls in Speech Analytics that pertain to specific business issues among all transcribed interactions. that is being synchronized, the synchronization process stops and restarts to update the databases with the new data.

Synchronization is initiated as a result of one of the following:

  • A Published category is modified.

  • An Inactive or Active category is changed to Published.

  • A new Published category is created.

  • A Published category is deleted.

  • When a Published or Active category associated with a Published category is modified, the Published category is synchronized.

The table shows the implications of the category state changes.
