Add attachments to a coaching topic

You can add attachments to coaching topics. Using coaching topic attachments increases productivity and consistency:

  • The content is automatically included in any coaching session that uses that particular topic, saving time and effort.

  • Predefined attachments assure consistency across the enterprise when coaching on a specific topic.

Procedure 

  1. Go to Performance Management. Under Administration, select Coaching Application that provides a method of directing, instructing and training a person or group of people, with the aim of achieving a set goal or developing specific skills. Topics.

  2. Click Add.

  3. From the Add Attachment popup, do one of the following:

    • If the topic is for an individual coaching session, select any of the attachment types displayed in the popup. All attachment types are supported for individual coaching sessions.

    • If the topic is for a group coaching session, select one of the following:

      • File

      • URL

      These types are the only attachment types supported for group coaching sessions. If you attempt to add an unsupported attachment, it is automatically removed and a message is sent to the user about this action.

  4. Optional:

    • To open a new window showing the URL attachment content, or to automatically download a file-based attachment to your local Downloads folder, click View.

    • To remove an attachment, click Delete.

Any file.

Filenames which contain !:~{ }?@#&<>=+|'“ are not permitted.

URL

An address of a website.

KPI

The name and periodicity of a KPI from Scorecards Product that assists agents, supervisors and all contact center employees to focus on critical aspects of their performance and identify opportunities for improvement..

Note: You cannot attach KPIs to group coaching sessions.

Lesson Assignment

Assign a lesson to the employee.

Note: You cannot attach lesson assignments to group coaching sessions.

Selecting one of the attachment types opens a popup that enables you to specify the required attachment information.

When you add or change a coaching session topic that contains attachments, you have the following options:

  • Replace the existing attachments with the ones from the new topic

  • Merge the existing attachments with the ones from the new topic

  • Cancel and not change the topic
