Local Archive issues

The following table describes issues you may encounter with Local Archive.

When local archiving is configured, and selective archive campaigns are used, screen recordings that are created on other recorders are not archived.

Re-configure each recorder as a Central Archive server archiving its own audio, video, and screen (even the corresponding screen recorded elsewhere).

To do this:

  1. Enable the Central Archive role for the recorder.

  2. Assign the same recorder to itself in the server association page.

  3. Configure the Archive Drive in Central Archive mode and use the same campaign Collection of scheduling periods in WFM, which are defined time periods where specific employees target specific workloads. that was used before.

  4. Follow the step 1-3 for the other recorders in the system.

This configuration causes the Central Archive server to act like a Local Archive server, pulling the audio, video, and screen from within itself. However, unlike a Local Archive server, it can also fetch the content if the associated screen is recorded elsewhere.
