Open Performance Monitor

Use the Windows Performance Monitor utility to view activity for performance counters provided for the Real-Time Analytics (RTA) Framework.

Analytics components are currently 32-bit; therefore, there are two ways to open the tool.

64-bit version start

To open the 64-bit version:

  1. On the Recorder server where you want to monitor activity, go to Start > Control Panel > Administrative Tools.

  2. Open Services.

  3. If not already running, start the Performance Counter DLL Host service. This service makes counters from 32-bit components available.

    The Performance Counter DLL Host service locks performance DLLs while it is running. Stop the service when changing the installation of your system.

  4. From the Administrative Tools panel, open Performance Monitor.

32-bit version start

  1. To start the 32-bit version, open the following executable on the Recorder server where you want to monitor activity:

    <Windows directory>\SysWOW64\perfmon.exe
