Understand results after you drill down

After you drill down into a chart, the system retrieves the interactions that are associated with the selected metric and updates both charts.

In addition, the Current Search area on the left panel shows a new step to reflect the drill-down. It also shows (within parentheses) the number of interactions that were retrieved.

Example:

Let us say that you have the Duration chart on the top and the Time of Day chart on the bottom. When you drill down to the Very Long bar, the system retrieves all the interactions that are 5–90 minutes long and updates both charts.

The Duration chart shows only the Very Long bar. The Time of Day chart shows the distribution of the long interactions among the different times of day: morning, mid-day, afternoon, evening, and night. You can find out that most of the long interactions occur during the morning.

When you move to any of the Analyze workspaces, your filters and search criteria are maintained (and not cleared).
