Remove interactions from a case or recycle bin

You can remove one or more interaction In Speech Analytics, an interaction represents a single part of the contact between one employee and the same customer. In Text Analytics, an interaction is the communication session between one or more employees and the same customer with a unifying contextual element.s from a case or a recycle bin A recycle bin is a special type of case that serves as a temporary location for interactions scheduled for deletion based on a period of days, known as 'days until deletion.' After the number of days expire, the system permanently deletes the interactions.. Interaction removal affects only the presence of the interactions in the currently selected case or recycle bin. Interactions residing in multiple cases and recycle bins are unchanged.

Each case and recycle bin displays up to 2,000 interactions at a time. If a case or recycle bin contains more than 2,000 interactions, the remaining interactions display (up to 2,000) after completing the removal.

Before you begin 

Access a case or recycle bin that contains at least one interaction.

Procedure 

  1. Select one or more interactions in the list.

  2. From the toolbar above the list, click remove Remove icon.

  3. To complete the removal, click Remove.

    • All selected interactions are removed from the case or recycle bin.

    • If the case or recycle bin contains more than 2,000 interactions, additional interactions (up to 2,000) display.
